Corporate trainers get handed training because they were good at the job itself. Neither of those is a gap in your ability; it’s just never been formalized. And that’s exactly what this diploma formalizes.

How It Works
PROGRAM FORMAT
This program runs 52 weeks and totals 1,040 hours, about 20 hours a week for a year. The program is built to be studied alongside a job.
Study is asynchronous. Material is released module by module, each with its own end date, and you complete the work within that window on your own schedule during the week. It isn’t a fixed classroom schedule, but it also isn’t fully open-ended: each module has a deadline, and staying on pace takes self-management.
Canvas, the platform you study on, logs your module time, engagement, and submissions as you go, so you always have a clear view of your progress.
A new intake starts roughly every three weeks, so you’re rarely waiting long to begin.

Can I actually fit this around my life?
This program isn’t spread evenly across a fixed schedule. Within each week, you set when you do the work.
Material is released module by module, each with its own end date, so you’re pacing yourself within a structured framework rather than managing a completely open-ended workload.
If you fall behind, each module includes two Action Plans, a built-in way to enable you to catch up. This isn’t easy, but it’s designed to help you complete the program alongside a job.
Am I on my own?
It’s true there’s no teacher, no live class, and no classmates. But there is structure: paced modules with enforced deadlines, six Action Plans across the program, and a weekly review of your progress.
If your activity drops off, you’ll be directly contacted. Class size is capped at 25, which keeps that tracking specific to you.
Will this get my overseas teaching credential recognized?
The federal occupational standard for this role names a credential in adult education as something the occupation may require, in addition to your existing qualification. This diploma is that credential. What it cannot do is evaluate or convert your overseas credential into Canadian teacher certification, nor is it a route to teaching in a school.
